Vintage Letters, Retro Typography & Signage with Character

Fantastic Mr Font has a thing for letters. Big ones, small ones, bold ones, battered ones, beautifully odd ones.

We hunt down original vintage letters, numbers and signage with proper personality — the sort once found above old shops, on factory walls, outside cinemas and across buildings that have long since changed their look. Some are pristine, some are gloriously worn, and all have a story to tell.

Then there’s our own collection. Inspired by the brilliant shapes, colours and character of vintage typography, we’ve created a range of retro-styled letters and keyrings with plenty of punch. Use them on doors, walls, desks, bags, keys, shelves — or spell out something entirely your own.

We like typography that refuses to fade into the background. Letters should be noticed. They should make you smile. They should have a bit of swagger.

So whether you’re after an original piece of signage history or something newly made with a distinctly retro soul, welcome to Fantastic Mr Font — where the alphabet gets a little more interesting.
